Hello!
I'm Gill, I’m an experienced Nanny who lives in the west end of Glasgow. Until January of this year I was a full time student at The University of Glasgow on their PGDE (Primary) Programme. I left this intensive Masters level programme due to family illness.
In addition to childcare, I run facilitated workshops / coaching for senior leaders working in the charitable sector in the UK and Europe. I previously worked as a freelance management consultant and coach with a selection of clients across the private, public and third sectors. I’ve a wealth of business and leadership experience and am educated to degree level.
My Experience
I am now into my 8th year working as a Nanny. I also have 15+ years experience looking after my niece and nephews from aged 6m to teens. In addition to all the usual stuff - meals, baking, changing nappies, homework, bath time, school and nursery runs - I've taken the children on day trips to the beach /zoo / museums etc and we have also travelled overseas together for sunshine holidays and to meet Santa - Freddy the toy frog from Nursery came on that trip too!
As a creative auntie I've also written stories featuring the children and acted out numerous scenes from their favourite films and tv shows. I'm also very happy to help with homework. Educated to degree level with a wealth of life / business experience and professional development I can support a range of subjects from primary through to secondary education. I tutored 3 children (P5, P7 and S2) during the Covid lockdowns and I taught a P6 class whilst on placement.
In addition to PVG Disclosure, I have Enhanced Disclosure for some of the charity work I’m involved with.

15 years + vocational experience with family from aged 6m to 11 years old (see above)
10 years + Regular babysitting for friends and family including overnight stays
Children's creative writing sessions with P2/3/4/5/6 school children
My Availability
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
My Tutor Fees are: £25 per hour (P1-P7)
