About Me
My husband and I live in Wimborne, Dorset and have two children (aged 9 and 11).
Sarah (11) has mild Cerebral Palsy with right side hemiplegia, Epilepsy and cognitive difficulties.
Christopher (9) has ADHD, Autism and Tourette's syndrome.
Your role would be to support, encourage and assist with all daily activities and personal care. To chaperone and assist in a range of recreational, therapeutic and academic activities. Preparing and cooking meals/snacks and encouraging them to help. Support personal development by encouraging their confidence, independence, and enjoyment of life, helping her grow and thrive in a fun, empowering environment. Working with multi-disciplinary care team and parents to implement therapy programmes. Completing care notes at the end of each shift and forwarding to parents and Case Manager.
We are a fun, enthusiastic family who is looking for an individual who can bring similar traits to our household.

Location: Wimborne, Dorset

Days & Hours: 35 hours per week, which includes admin time + 4 hrs respite per month.
Monday 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm
Tuesday 7am-9am & 3pm - 6pm
Wednesay 7am - 9am & 3pm - 9pm
Thursday 7am - 9am & 3pm - 9pm
Friday 7am - 9am & 3pm - 6pm
In the school holidays the days will change to 3-4 full days a week, these will be agreed with the parents on a term-by-term basis.
Driver required? Essential
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, On duty and to attend trainings. Business insurance required
Essential Experience: Supporting neurodiverse children
Desirable: Experience working with children with trauma and an interest in therapy
Accommodation (while on duty): Family home

We are seeking a flexible, patient and caring SEN Nanny to support Sarah and Christopher.
Your role will be to support both children with school, home and personal activities, inside and outside the home.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person to join our family and develop existing skills and support our very special young children. A truly rewarding role for someone who is able to communicate effectively and an ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth and compassion.
Pay and Benefits:
£17 per hour (weekdays)
£18.50 per hour (weekends).
5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
