My Experience

I've been working as a babysitter/nanny part time since I moved to London in 2015. The ages I've looked after ranges from 6 month babies to 15 year olds so I've pretty much looked after every single age. Over the last year I've had a lot of experience in particular with babies aged between 8-13 months but have recently started looking after a 6 month baby and two toddlers aged 18 months and 27 months.

There really are too many families and clients to list so if you'd like more info on my experience, just ask. I've also worked with kids aged 7-15 helping them make films.

1. Miri was with us since April looking after my now 12 month old baby. My son enjoyed his time with Miri; she took him out for walks, played peek-a-boo, and put him down for naps etc. Miri is very bubbly and fun to be around. Most importantly I felt I could trust her and felt my baby was safe with her.

2. We had Miri look after our children (ages 8 and 11), and she was fantastic. The kids loved playing with her. Miri kept them engaged, supervised them well, and handled the bedtime routine after some TV time. We were completely at ease knowing they were happy and well taken care of. We’d highly recommend Miri!

3. Our girls love Miri. She is a very friendly and happy person, always punctual, reliable and listens to the kids' needs and wishes. She knows how to organise and get along with children in a respectful and kind way.

4. Miri has been our regular nanny to our two daughters (now aged 4 and 2) since April 2018 when the girls were around 2.5 and 9 months. Miri is great with toddlers (the age they are now) but also with small babies, very aware of what they can or can’t eat / any choking hazards etc. She has even looked after our children for entire weekends when we have been at weddings. The girls absolutely adore her. She picks them up from nursery and all the nursery staff always sing her praises. Miri is a big part of our daughters’ first years. We would definitely recommend her as a nanny.

5. Miri got in touch through Childcare.co.uk and we scheduled a meeting after which we immediately decided that Miri was a good fit for our family. Miri looked after our daughter Hazel from the start of January 2017 through to mid October 2017 and has since on and off during the summer holidays, too. Her fantastic creativity showed in the activities she chose to do with Hazel and we knew she would never be bored. As well as this she often took her out to play on the Common or to the park and we always felt safe knowing our daughter was in capable hands. Miri was always calm and collected and handled stressful situations well. She handled tantrums and difficult toddler behaviour in a calm manner. It was also obvious to us that she had fun with Hazel which I think is very important. I work from home some of the time and could often hear them both giggling together.

6. Miri has carried out ad-hoc childcare for us since May 2017, when my daughter Cleo was 15-months-old, and previous to this regularly looked after my neighbours’ two children and now looks after my other daughter who was 9 months when Miri began. Miri has a really good connection with the girls and has been really accommodating, trustworthy, communicative, and is smart, easy going and personable.

My Availability

Currently I'm looking for a new regular role for one or two days a week as well as any ad hoc work around this.

- Any day for evening/overnight babysitting
- Weektime nannying
- Ad hoc weekends for an increased rate

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

Weekday nannying (daytime):
-FROM £18/h depending on the specific requirements, age and distance. Please reach out to discuss.
*Generally I have a 4 hour minimum but it may be longer depending on the distance.

Evening babysitting (any day from/after 6pm):
-£17/h for 1-2 children.
-£20/h for 3 children.
*Generally I have a 4 hour minimum but it may be longer depending on the distance.
*After midnight I charge 2x my rate per 30 minutes.
*After 11pm I kindly ask for you to cover the cost of a taxi home.

Weekend nannying (daytime):
-From £23/h depending on the specific requirements, age and distance, please reach out to discuss.
*Generally I have a 6 hour minimum but it may be longer depending on the distance.
