I registered as a childminder 2 years ago and can honestly say it’s the best decision I ever made! I love it :) We go out almost every day to indoor play areas, toddler groups, museums, walks in the woods, parks, splash parks, other childminder’s houses - anywhere and everywhere really! My setting is absolutely a “home from home” as opposed to a nursery-style setting, where the children experience every day things as well as playing, for example, trips to the shops to help pick dinner, the library, school assemblies etc

I am able to accept tax free childcare, childcare vouchers and funded children.

I am registered with Early Years. Some people haven’t heard of this and feel that childminders “must” be Ofsted registered so I wanted to take this opportunity to explain a bit more about it. Being agency registered is rather a new thing but it’s fab for childminders and the children we care for. The support we get when needed is invaluable and not something we get so easily from Ofsted. We are inspected every year rather than every 3 years by Ofsted and we have regular training available to us should we wish to complete it. We have to follow every single guideline that Ofsted set including DBS, other checks, first aid etc and of course, we follow the EYFS.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

£5 per hour including evening meal & breakfast if required. Packed lunch, formula, nappies and wipes to be provided by parents.
