About Me
Welcome to Colette’s Childminding
Hello, I’m Colette — a NICMA registered childminder and proud mum to two girls and one boy. I’ve been childminding since 2018 and absolutely love what I do. My aim is to provide a warm, friendly, home-from-home environment where every child feels happy, safe, and cared for as they learn and grow.
Training & Experience
I’m trained in Safeguarding, Health and Safety in the Childminding Setting, and Paediatric First Aid, with social worker reports available for viewing. Your child’s wellbeing is always my top priority.
Daily Fun & Learning
Our days are filled with a mix of arts and crafts, baking, play dough, games, toys and puzzles to suit all ages. I love encouraging creativity, imagination, and independence through play.
Outdoor Adventures
We have a large enclosed garden with plenty of play equipment, and we’re close to Cave Hill Country Adventure Playground, so we often head out for walks and park trips when the weather allows!
Our Home
We’re a smoke-free home with two friendly bunny rabbits who love gentle attention from the children.

My Experience
I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to older children. I love getting to know each child’s unique personality and creating a warm, fun, and safe environment where they feel happy and supported. I’m flexible and reliable, always ready to adapt to the needs of your child and family.
My Qualifications
I am fully trained to provide safe, supportive, and high-quality care for children of all ages. My qualifications include:
• First Aid
• Makaton Level 1
• Safeguarding in a Childminding Setting
• Health and Safety in a Childminding Setting
• Nutrition Matters in Early Years
• Autism (AQA Level 1)
My childcare setting is inspected by a social worker once a year, and reports are available for parents to view.
My Availability
I’m available Monday to Friday, 8:00?am – 5:30?pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of your child or family. I can happily provide pick-ups from local nurseries. I hold a full driver’s license and have a comfortable 7-seater car, making school runs and outings stress-free and safe.

Colette provides an amazing service for me and my 2 year old son just adores Colette and her 2 girls as well as the other children. Colette is great in keeping me informed on how my son's day is going and does lots of great activities and takes my son and the other children out. Colette is a lovely person inside and out. You will not be disappointed with this service, also very reasonable priced. I couldn't be happier with this service
