About Me
Hello I’m Jodie and I live in Keston with my 4 year old daughter. I have a child friendly house with 2 dedicated play rooms and large open plan dining area for messy play, arts and crafts. I also have a large garden full of resources and toys for the children to play and explore in. I offer a fun, loving, home from home experience where all children grow, learn and explore.
I have an excellent Ofsted report, graded GOOD with outstanding Behaviours and Attitudes.
Meals and snacks are provided, including home cooked meals daily. The children will be involved with weekly baking, I’d love to hear your favourite treats so we can attempt to make them! I support breastfeeding, pace feeding and baby led weaning.
I take the children out every week to various places; country parks, farms, woodland walks, play parks, library, toddler groups and many more.
My Experience
I have worked with children since 2009 where i worked for a children's charity for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. In 2015 i became a Nanny before registering with Ofsted to become a Childminder in 2017.
I have looked after children from 4 months of age and also have my own daughter so am experienced with newborns and children of all ages.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, safeguarding trained, paediatric first aid.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday 0730 - 1830
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Fees include meals and snacks.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Keston Church of England Primary School

Our daughter started with Jodie at 2 years, will remain with Jodie until school and our second who is due soon is already signed up to receive childcare from Jodie. We were nervous about starting our little girl at childcare. From meeting Jodie, we were reassured that Jodie provides a gentle, caring and sensitive approach to all the children she cares for. We hadn't seen our daughter respond so positively to any other caregiver and couldn't believe we'd found someone we felt so confident to look after our child - she is always excited to go and see her friends and Jodie. Her setting feels like home and Jodie goes out of her way to provide the children with great learning and life experiences. Jodie is great at communicating with parents so we always feel in the loop. We couldn't have wished for anything better for our daughter and will be sad when she has to leave! I would 100% recommend Jodie - she works incredibly hard and our daughter is growing in confidence, knowledge and experience thanks to her.

It was so important to us to find somewhere that would feel like a home from home, for our child. With Jodie, that's exactly what we found. The setting, the care, the adventures! All of them allow for our child to have a seamless transition from our house to Jodie's. The excitement that my child has about going to Jodie's house says it all. His friends are there, the fun is there and Jodie and Mollie are there! He starts his day with a smile, which is all I can ask for, and when it comes to collection, his smile is even bigger and the stories of the day are even better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sending your child here for their happiness, safety and development!
Oh! You'll know the significance of this one too!! Our child eats EVERYTHING that Jodie cooks. In fact, seconds and thirds are even requested!!

My son has been going to Jodie since he was 9 months old and honestly we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She’s been such a huge part of his early years and he absolutely loves going there( he doesn’t even say goodbye anymore, just goes straight in lol).
She’s caring, patient, and always makes my son feel safe and happy. It’s been amazing seeing how much he’s grown in confidence and learned while being with her, she also loves and cares for him like one of her own!!I always know he’s well looked after and that gives me so much peace of mind.
Couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely lovely childminder. The best there is!
