About Me
My husband and I live in Leamington Spa with our two children aged 4 and 7 (both at school). My husband works in London three days a week and I work part time around the kids. We adopted the children three years ago and they are doing really well and we would like to start building our lives back again so seeking extra support to help with the children.
The children (boy 7, girl 4) are bright, inquisitive but sometimes strong willed and determined. They are funny, kind and creative and do best in a calm, nurturing but fun and vibrant environment.
My Requirements
We are looking for child minding support in the evening and weekends with some possible overnights in the future. We are after somebody who is creative and fun with energy as the kids love exploring, making things, music, dancing etc. We dont have ipads and they dont watch netflix, youtube etc so somebody who can support their learning through play would be great.
Experience with children of this age would be great and someone who feels comfortable with setting boundaries and used to dealing with more than one child at a time. A bonus would be someone who understands children who have suffered trauma or experience of dealing with children in the care system (understands why they may have some little quirks or be anxious around certain things)
On average it would be a night in the week and one night, morning/afternoon at the weekend. If this went well then possible overnights in the school holidays. Hours/times are pretty flexible.
