I am an Ofsted Regsitered Childminder in Bengeo, Hertford. I look after 2-3 preschoolers (age 0-4) in the day and I am able to drop off and collect from Bengeo Primary School in the morning and afternoon, sometimes at lunchtimes. I only have a small amount of before and after school children.
I live with my husband who is a local Geography teacher and our 2 lovely children -one a sixth former at secondary school locally and another studying at university of Manchester. We have a good sized garden and plenty of space to play.
After graduating and working in an office, I changed paths after enjoying the pre-school years with my own children. I now have over 12 years experience and 3 'Good' Ofsted inspections. Strengths noted were my relationship with the children, the values of respect and inclusivity I promote and the high quality of communication between us all. It is very much a home environment, a big family, and I provide a mixture of planned activities inspired by the children's interests and lots of creative play to support their learning while having lots of fun. I take the children out most mornings to local woods, parks, paradise wildlife park, farms and enjoy showing them the great outdoors.
I enjoy cooking and and offer home cooked food.

*Tuesday-Thursday space coming up in September 2023* (potentially Mondays too).
I have a very limited number of before and after school places as these are often kept for years.
