I am a responsible, caring and fun 24-year-old - with over seven years experience in childcare.
I have recently graduated from the University of Bristol with an undergraduate degree in Religion and Theology. Alongside my studies, I enjoy playing guitar, painting and practising different types of meditation. I find that my hobbies can be easily interwoven with my childcare.
I regard myself as an enthusiastic, optimistic and kind person. This is enhanced by the energetic and genuine nature of children. I enjoy the dynamism of children and undertake a range of activities with them - including painting, reading and being in nature. I am passionate about teaching and practising open communication, as I feel it is the most effective way of developing children to become self-aware, independent thinkers.
I am a competent cook, providing a range of tasty, healthy meals - specialising in vegetarian and vegan dishes. Moreover, I worked as a Housekeeper at No.15 Great Pulteney and Bloomfield House for two years. This experience has enabled me to run a household competently; including daily cleaning, washing and ironing. I have experience juggling these roles as I was responsible for housekeeping duties, on top of childcare for previous families.
I put my studies on hold between 2020-2021, due to the difficulties of the pandemic, in which time I undertook a Diploma in Childcare. This gave me some theoretical support to accompany my practical experience.
My Experience
I have huge amount of understanding and practice in childcare. My CV is attached to my Childcare profile, so please refer to that if you would like to have a more in-depth description of the experience I have obtained. Though, I will briefly state some information here too.
I began babysitting at the age of 15 as I have always enjoyed being in the company and being responsible for children. I babysat numerous families between the ages of 15-18 years old. After this, I began to nanny. I nannied for one family for a year and a half before I began my degree. I looked after four boys, full time, during this period. Amongst the four boys, I looked after five week old twins. I learnt a lot when I was with this family and it was a delight to be able to look after twin babies. When I deferred my studies last year, I began to nanny for two families, part time. The children were between the ages of two and five.
I have enjoyed being a nanny for every family that I have worked for - making connections with both the children and the parents.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Flexible; based on number of children, hours and type of childminding required.
