My Requirements

We can offer either ~25 hours / week or up to 35-40 hours/ week (over a larger number of days) both primarily covering mornings and after school/evenings. However we can be flexible on the final days and hours for the right person (below schedule is therefore an indicator)

We have 3 children aged 16 yr, 12 yr and 8 yr. The role involves before school preparation/ school runs, cooking/preparing meals, school pick ups/ after school care, preparing & doing activities with the children including help with homework and some support with running the household.

A genuine enthusiasm for working with children, positive outlook, practical & caring approach together with a willingness to learn quickly on the job are the main requirements. Some special needs experience is an advantage, as middle child needs extra support, but this is not essential.

We do need a driver for school runs & childrens activities (car supplied), together with excellent references and a DBS check. Candidate would also need to be someone who is comfortable around dogs. Rate of pay `negotiable.
