My Summary
About Me
Experienced Nanny Seeking a Family-Friendly Role
I am a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny with over 10 years of full-time childcare experience, working with families and children from newborn stage right through to teenagers. I am passionate about providing a nurturing, fun, and structured environment where children can thrive.
I have recently welcomed my own daughter, which has given me the chance to truly practice what I preach.
Becoming a mum myself has deepened my understanding of just how important our role is in raising happy, confident little humans. I strongly believe in being firm but fair, with safety always my number one priority — closely followed by fun.
I also have extensive knowledge of sleep training and child development milestones, which are very much second nature to me.
I am now looking for a role with a family who would be happy for my daughter to join me. Ideally, I am seeking a position offering a couple of days a week, or morning/afternoon support, giving parents a helping hand or some well-earned breathing space.
My Experience
Most recently, I completed a three-year role with a lovely family where I cared for two girls who were aged 3 and 1 when I started. During my time with them, I also supported the family through the arrival of their third daughter.
Prior to this, I spent three years in Wimbledon caring for two boys aged 2 and 5, and before that worked in a nanny share arrangement with two families, caring for four children of similar ages.
Childcare has always been a huge part of my life — I grew up in a childminding household, working alongside my mum, which made working with children feel inevitable. Before becoming a nanny, I also worked for a large company in the travel industry, where I developed excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
I love to cook and take pride in preparing healthy, homemade meals for the whole family. I enjoy teaching children the importance of nourishing our bodies with good food — while also firmly believing that a fish finger Friday never hurt anyone!
I make the most of our local area, regularly visiting parks, libraries, baby and toddler classes, soft plays, and enjoying wildlife walks. At home, I value the quieter moments just as much: building dens, reading stories, crafting, baking, and encouraging imaginative play.
I am caring, proactive, and genuinely love what I do. I am now excited to find a family who values a nurturing, hands-on approach to childcare and is open to a setup that allows my daughter to be part of our days together.
