About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren, and I am an OFSTED registered childminder with a passion for helping little ones learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

I became a childminder in 2018, inspired by my love of working with children and the joy of supporting their early development. Being able to provide this care also allowed me to be at home with my own children. We are a military family with four children ranging from 15 to 3 years old, so family life is at the heart of everything we do.

I hold an Enhanced DBS check and I am Paediatric First Aid trained, giving parents peace of mind that safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. To ensure I provide the best possible care, I continue to keep my training up to date. Some of the training I have completed includes:

I strongly believe in being led by the children’s interests and creating an environment where learning feels fun and natural. We spend lots of time outdoors, exploring and discovering the world around us. Our home is full of life – we share it with two dogs, a cat, and chickens, while our ponies and sheep are on our land just a short drive away, giving the children wonderful opportunities to learn about animals, nature, and responsibility in a hands-on way.

Whether it’s enjoying outdoor adventures, exploring new activities, or developing new skills, I aim to create a welcoming, caring space where every child feels happy, valued, and encouraged to flourish.
