About Me

Hi! I'm Maz, a 48 year old Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker who is young at heart and wishes to care for children on a part time basis and be a support to parents who need a night out! My DBS is online and annually renewed - I can show original paper DBS and provide code to check online.

My Experience

I'm currently a care assistant working in community based complex care. I have worked in care for over 20 years in a variety of areas (dementia care /acute mental health/chest medicine/palliative care/complex childrens care/learning and physical disability). I am a qualified childcare worker and spent two years working with two and three years olds in a Pre School. As a Support Worker I have had experience working in various childrens homes including respite homes for learning and physical disability. For several years I was an assistant Beaver Scout leader voluntarily working with five to seven year olds.
