My Requirements

Hi! I'm Judith. I'm originally French but I've been living in the UK for more than 25 years now—so I definitely have a British mindset! lol

My son Anthony is a lovely 8 years old autistic boy, and I am currently looking for a reliable and understanding childminder. He speaks only English.

I will be starting university in London and will be attending twice a week. Most likely Monday and Tuesday. If more days needed I will ask in advance or days can changed by the university on my welcome day. During term time and school holidays, I will also need to spend some days studying at the library, as it is difficult to study at home when my son is there.

I am looking for someone who can:
• Be available at our home during the week and school holidays
• Be there early in the morning to support him when his school transport picks him up. From 6:15 am for only one of the days.
• Be present when he is dropped off from school until I get back most likely before 7 pm for one day and before that time the second day.
• Stay with him in the evening to prepare his dinner and I will most likely be here before shower time and bed time. He shower at 20:00 pm because his body clock is different then other kids. He wakes up by 5 am everyday.

My son sometimes needs personal care.He is not physically disabled, but there are some skills he can do alone. He is on the autistic spectrum with more sensory needs. He enjoys being around friendly adults and loves having conversations.

I am looking for someone patient, kind, and experienced or willing to learn about autism. ( my son is more comfortable with female childminder but in my home/ babysitter/ nanny).
Some days I might need respite from time to time. Or more days during children holidays because needed study outside of the house.
