About Me
I moved from Kent to Stroud with my family 3 years ago and we haven't looked back! I have recent experience of working as a PA for a Functional Medicine Clinic and have learnt a lot over the years about how to support your health through diet and lifestyle which I'm passionate about. I'm now looking to go back to working as a Nanny as it brought me so much joy as I love caring for children and helping them to develop and providing a safe, nurturing environment for them to thrive in. I love the freedom that it brings and exploring new things with the children and following their passions.
My Experience
I have 8 years experience of working as a Nanny and it has always been my most favourite job!
I have cared for new born babies up to 12 year olds. I have often worked with families that needed me to care for their youngest in the day where I would make breakfast and then I would take them out for an activity, such as swimming, a music group, nature group, woodland walk with other parents or Nannies with children of a similar age. I love meeting new people and trying different things with each child and following their interests and watching their personalities develop : ) I then often went for a walk with the buggy or sling for nap time. Often I packed a lunch or we went back to the house for lunch. I always packed lots of snacks as needed! I have bottle fed babies with expressed breast milk or formula. I then often collected the eldest from school, maybe went to the park afterwards to meet friends and then headed back home for dinner.

Level 2 childcare training - currently in the process

Rachel is 1 in a billion. My girls were 6&8 when Rachel came in to their lives and she has been a part of our lives ever since. I honestly can’t rate her highly enough for children of any age. She worked with us for years and the girls flourished under her care. They were constantly excited to be with Rachel and to this day they adore her. Rachel and her family had to move away but our families are still very close. That’s Rachel though. The day she came for her first interview, she was heading up to London after to meet a family she used to work for and remained friends with. I remember thinking how positive that was and now I feel honoured to be another one of the families that get to be Rachel’s friend. Don’t hesitate to hire her. You’ll be very hard pushed to find anyone who comes close.
