About Me
I’m a ‘Good’ rated, Ofsted registered childminder and babysitter, working in professional childcare since 2015. With experience looking after children from newborns up to 14 years old.
By nature I am reliable and caring with a fun, and easy-going nature, but also like to implement routines, as I think children do need stability in their care settings.
I like to take the children in my care to toddler groups, parks, national trust sites, soft play, and of course, home play, so they get to experience lots of different settings to aid their development and have some fun along the way.
I also have a friend network of ofsted registered childminders in the local area, so we often have days all together so they can interact with other children. This social interaction helps the children to develop and means we can offer unique settings and activities.

My Experience
I have 4 children of my own, and have been in professional childcare since 2015. I have recently had my Ofsted inspection, and was very pleased to have received a ‘good’ rating in all areas. Alongside the childminding, I also work in a pre-school in our village. I enjoy seeing the children in my care learn and grow, and it’s so rewarding to watch their development.

My Availability
Monday-Friday between the hours of 8-6, and after school pick ups from Borough Green primary school. I am also available for ad-hoc babysitting after hours.

My twins, daughter and son started to go to Gemma’s Tots over a year and half ago since they were one year old. Although they don’t fully talk yet, I can tell they absolutely love Gemma because they always ask if we are going to ‘Gem Gem’ when we get in a car! They look very happy and excited when we are heading to Gemma’s.
Gemma is caring, friendly and fun. Her whole family is the same, a very welcoming home environment. She is very approachable and has a good communication with parents. I can talk to her if there is any worries about my children.
Gemma takes my children to toddler groups, soft play and parks, and also does excellent crafts with them. She has a good network with other local childminders and they have gatherings, which I find very good for developing their social skills.
My husband and I are very glad we found her! We very much recommend Gemma to anyone looking for childcare.
