My Summary

My Experience

Since secondary school I have been studying the development of children and working with young children in nursery settings and schools. I qualified as a primary school teacher in July 2021 where my specialism is with 3-7 year-olds and worked within Year 2 and the Nursery; I will be a Year 1 class teacher from September covering maternity leave. Previous to this I have worked as a Nursery Teacher for 3-4 year olds, worked as a Reception Class Teaching Assistant and was a Preschool Nursery Room Leader.

I regularly looked after children from the Nursery before it opened. This included collecting children from their homes and taking them to the Nursery and giving them breakfast. I also have been involved with doing some tutoring sessions for children to help prepare them for getting into a Primary School in the upcoming academic year which I really enjoyed. I also tutored a child after school to support him with his reception class phonics.

I have a wealth of knowledge regarding children's development, learning and teaching approaches/strategies and have many exciting activities that I am eager to carry out!

My Availability

During most week days during August for babysitting, childminding, tutoring and/or to collect your child(ren) from Summer Camps if needed.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour
