About Me
Hi. I live in Lightwater with my husband and 2 grown up children. I took up childminding when my daughter was 9 months old and haven’t looked back since. I love caring and working with children.
I take the minded children to Toddler groups, Parks, Legoland. I love going for walks with the little ones through the park and feeding the ducks.
I have 2 gardens out the back. One for the older children and one for the little ones to play safe in. There is a playhouse, ride on toys, prams, and water table. Everything to keep your child happy.
My home is home from home. I treat all minded children like my own. My 2 children treat minded children like family as well.
I work alongside the Parents regarding the care of their child/children.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 20 years and I love the day to day experience of caring for children.
I love the way that children change each day and its so rewarding seeing them grow up with me. I have seen children come and go but I am still in contact with nearly all the children who have gone to "Big School "or have moved away.

My little one visits Caroline every Monday and he loves it there. So much to do and he’s always had a new adventure. Caroline is lovely and so personable. You can tell she loves what she does and the children reflect this passion! Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you
Overall
Caroline has been child minding my sons since July 2009. I have been extremely happy with the care they have received, and the progress they have made whilst in Caroline’s care. Caroline’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organized and my boys have great fun playing with all the toys available which she regularly changes to suit their tastes & needs. And they both really enjoy playing with the other children in her care and with her own children who are always very friendly & helpful. Beyond all this though, it is Caroline’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach.
Caroline provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. Caroline regular takes the boys to local playgroups, outings to the park or doing arts & crafts with them.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care my children receive and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping them develop into a confident and self assured little boys.
Caroline is an incredibly warm and generous person who is very flexible and understanding. She has changed and adapted to my childcare needs as the children started school and nursery. Caroline has helped me out on many occasions at a drop of a hat, which I am truly grateful for. Her own children are a testament to her and the way in which she, as a carer of children, works.
I would absolutely recommend Caroline Parcell as a great and reliable child minder.
