About Me
Hi, my name is Ingrid and I live in Falmouth. I’ve worked with children and young people for the last 14 years in a variety of settings. I currently work as a Learning Support Practitioner at a local college, and I’m offering my services as a babysitter for evenings and weekends.
As a mum of three, I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are in safe hands. I’m patient, trustworthy and caring, and I love getting involved in games, crafts and outdoor activities. I’m happy to follow your child’s usual routines and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and have lots of fun while you’re away.
My Experience
I have worked with children and young people for the last 14 years in a variety of settings. Six of those years were spent working as a Preschool Practitioner, where I supported children’s learning and development and provided a safe, nurturing environment.
The remainder of my experience has been working with students with additional needs, including my current position as a Learning Support Practitioner at a local college. In my current role, I support young people with a range of individual needs, helping them to develop their confidence, independence and skills.
Alongside my professional experience, I am also a mum of three, so I have plenty of practical, hands-on experience of caring for children and managing the everyday routines that come with family life.
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce and regularly complete training and CPD to keep my knowledge and skills up to date, including safeguarding and health and safety.
