About Me

I have been married for nineteen years, and have three children. I have two boys ,which are aged eighteen and sixteen years and my daughter is eight. I am a non smoker, and have had a full clean driving licence since 1991.
I have a genuine interest in children of all ages, and a desire to be involved in their development. I have found over the years that planning, being organized, and a good communicator both with children and parents are important for me to provide stimulating activities, and individual care appropriate to the individual child. I am caring, honest, trustworthy and reliable. I have been ofsted registered but this has expired, however I would be willing to re-register at parents own expense.

My Experience

I have worked in a variety of childcare settings which include nannying and private day nurseries. My first nannying position was in 1989 where I had total care of two small girls, taking care of their personal needs and helping them to learn skills like dressing themselves, using cutlery and using the lavatory. Back in 1990-1993 I worked fulltime for two small boys three years and nine months old. Organising outings and entertainment, whilst providing a safe and stimulating environment for them to grow and develop. Once the boys were in education I carried on working with them over the next few years during the holidays.I have since had my own children, and worked in private day nurseries.
My last position nannying was for 3 children in September 2011. Since then i have done voluntary work and babysat for a 9month old little girl from March 2016 till June 2017.
