Mother's help for big home ed family
About Me
The 8 of us live on the edge of Sharpthorne in Mid-Sussex with our 6 cats. Our kids are 12 (girl), 10 (boy), 6 (boy), 5 (girl), 3 (boy) and nearly 2 months old (boy).
I'm a stay at home mum and my husband Andy often works from his home office. It's a big house with a lot of garden and a field.
We're a close family, in summer you'd find us romping around in the forest or swimming in the natural swimming pond. In winter we tend to cosy up round the fire or climb up the walls (it's OK, there's a ladder!). The kids are home educated and have various classes at home and out and about. The picture is an old photo from when I last updated the profile before we had our last two kids, I'll have to post a new one soon!
We're looking for help with managing the home, meals, lifts to classes, and childcare.
My Requirements
Help with both the kids and house, basically easing the load and filling in where needed. This might include taking the older kids to their classes (driving license essential) while I'm at home with the others, staying home with the younger two while I take the big ones out, watching the kids at home so I can have a break, helping prep food, having a quick tidy round, carrying laundry upstairs, playing outside with the kids, reading stories to the little ones, etc.
Our times/days can be a bit flexible. It's a part-time role with set hours decided between you and me, which could be as little as a couple of hours a week to over 25 hours a week. The ideal would be weekday afternoons 3/4-7pm, with longer hours and/or solely daytime hours possible for the right fit.
