About Me

Hello I’m Tracey Smith, an OFSTED registered childminder, I have 25 years childcare experiences living in the Pennycross area with my husband. I have been a childminder since 2014 & on my last inspection in June 2023, I received a good rating from Ofsted. I have a home from home approach in a caring & stimulating environment, I constantly have communication with my parents on their children’s development & routines so that everyone feels safe & secure. My paediatric first aid is always up to date, along with my DBS certificate linked to the yearly update service. I am registered to take ME2 funding & 15/30 hours of the 9 month old, 2 year old & 3/4 year old funding. My working hours are 8am to 5pm, times can be negotiable & I am open for 48 weeks of the year generally closing 1 week at Easter, two weeks in the summer & a week at Christmas.

My Experience

I have been in childcare for 25 years, first working my way up in a nursery from a trainee to deputy manager. I became a childminder in 2014.
