About Me
I have been a private nanny since 1995 and have looked after several families over the years ranging from newborn to sixteen years. I have two children of my own, a girl of 22 and a boy of 16. I am also available for evening or weekend babysitting and please contact me on my mobile number on this site if you would like to discuss your requirements. I am looking for a new position. I am looking for a part time position but I am very flexible as to which days.
My Experience
I had held numerous positions over the years and I have looked after a range of ages. In addition I have experience of looking after up to 5 children at the same time, both boys and girls. I am good at organising my time and have to in this profession. I am comfortable applying confidentiality in the workplace. Excellent references available. I love to cook for and with the children. I also enjoy doing activates in and outside the home with the children.

We were in touch with Clare via childcare.co.uk and she was able to meet our summer holiday cover needs for our 4, 9 and 11 year old. She has great local knowledge so was able to get them involved in group activities, days out and plenty of running around. She also took time to do baking (and slime making!) when they wanted something less energetic to do.
She also introduced us to exploding kittens* and geocaching which the kids are keen to do now too! The kids were happy and from our side we were happy as we never had any worries about punctuality, reliability and organisation so were able to go to work without a second thought.
Would highly recommend, and will happily call on her again if needed!
(*exploding kittens is a card game...)

I cannot recommend Clare highly enough. We travelled to the UK from Australia and needed a babysitter to mind our 15 month old while we attended a wedding. Clare did a brilliant job, she put our little boy at ease from the moment she arrived and all we got from him as we left was 'ta ta, ta ta' whilst he waved furiously, not a tear in sight!
Now that we are back in Aus we are too far away to use Clare more frequently unfortunately :(
