We are Annie and Justin, we've been married for 15 years and have two children, our older son is 13 and our youngest son is 10. Justin works from home as an insurance broker and I am a full-time chiropractic student.
My Requirements
We are looking for a Support Worker / Personal Assistant to help our 10-year-old son, Teddy, with his daily needs. Teddy has complex disabilities with high support needs. He is a very bright, happy boy who loves singing, music, going for walks, swimming in our hot tub and days out. He attends school, which he loves! We live in Orpington and also have a 13-year-old son, Noah. Teddy is non-speaking, sight impaired, paralysed from the waist down and has epilepsy. Teddy really enjoys building relationships with his supporting adults, he is a thoughtful, gentle and switched-on person who knows exactly what he likes and can communicate this through his vocalisations and gestures.
The hourly pay rate is £12.75 before tax, paid on a 4 weekly basis with annual leave and pension.
