My Requirements

Hi!

We live next to Canada Water / Surrey Quays station SE16 and are looking for a part time afterschool nanny / manny our sweet 8 year old son with learning difficulties (developmentally at 1 to 2 yr old level)

Hours we need help are (can be discussed):

Thursday and Friday
Around 4-7:30pm

Afterschool routine:

He comes home from school bus which arrives in front of our house

We are really looking for some one who is kind, reliable and would love to spend time with my son and help him progress. He is non verbal but would vocalise his wants. Loves going to the park, cars and trains. He is still building strength and confidence to walk independently so needs help with transitioning and holding his hands to walk. He can crawl and use walker on this own. He is developmentally at a 12 month level so someone experienced with young toddlers are a must.

Duties will be looking after his safety, going out to the park with him, educational play, feeding (puree food only) and bathing. He uses feeding tube as well but I will teach you how to use it.

Bonus if you have special needs experience or worked/working in SEN school :)

Competitive pay commensurate to experience.

Happy to start now (flexible hours) with permanent hours from September onwards.

We are looking for some one who are happy to stay with us for 1 year at least so please only reach out if you are looking for longer term position :)
