Babysitter in London: Wandsworth
My Summary
About Me
I am an ex teacher and child’s sports coach, with a current global DBS. I have recently taken a break from teaching Drama at a private boarding school and I am looking for a caring family that I can fit in well with and help with childcare and household responsibilities.
I have experience caring for and working with children aged 9 months through to 18 years. I would be well suited to getting children to and from school, helping children with homework and after school activities such as baking, arts and crafts and sporting clubs. I am also very happy to cook dinner and put children to bed after baths etc and help with housework, as required.
I grew up in the Cotswolds and graduated from the University of York in 2017. I am reliable and friendly, I have a great love of animals, the outdoors and food. I am a keen cook and have experience catering for many different dietary requirements. I also love animals, love to run, swim and craft.
My Experience
I have extensive experience in both sole care and with multiple charges. My experience working with ages varies from 9 months to 18 years, and all ages in between!
Previously I have been the sole nanny for a 9 month old for a year, teaching her to walk and talk, cooking her healthy meals, creating a sleep routine and designing activities whilst learning from play.
Separately, I have had two nanny jobs involving sole care of siblings aged 7, 5 and 3. My duties consisted of drop offs and pick ups from separate schools and a nursery, creating a comfortable routine for all children. This included cooking nutritious dinners suitable for the family, arranging schedules around the children’s different activities, creating fun and safe play, homework, bath time and bedtime routines.
I also am available for ad hoc overnights, where parents schedules may require it, and have extensive experience in this also.
I have recently returned from spending a second summer working at a children’s summer sleep away camp, for girls and boys aged 6-16, where I was a lifeguard and watersports instructor, with care duties for multiple children 24/7 for their time away.
I have also worked as a teacher for two years teaching Drama at a private boarding school in Rutland. I lived in a boarding house and took care of a year group alongside my teaching commitments.
Prior to this I spent a winter in the south of France, and in exchange for accommodation with a lovely English family I helped look after their 5 year old girl and 8 year old boy. I cooked them dinner, took them to their ski classes as well as skiing with me, helped with school work (in French) and reading for fun (in English).
My Qualifications
BA (hons) in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance
A-Levels in English Literature, History, Fine Art, Theatre Studies
12 GCSE's from A*-B including Maths, Sciences, English and French
Attended Stroud High School from the age of 11 through to 18

I am very flexible and am prepared to work part time with school drop offs or pick ups, but am also happy to pick up ad-hoc babysitting shifts as required.
I would love to meet you to construct a suitable timetable together.
