About me

Hi, I’m Paige! I’m a bubbly, caring and positive person who genuinely loves working with children. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with children, and I feel very lucky to have made a career out of something I’ve always loved.

I have a university degree and over 2,000 hours of experience in both primary schools and nurseries through my placements. I then worked in a nursery for two years before becoming a nanny, and I’ve now been nannying for 10 years.

Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of different ages and personalities, and I’ve really loved watching them grow and develop. I’m very much a relationship led nanny, I think it’s so important that children feel safe, listened to, encouraged and, most importantly, happy.

I’m a very hands on nanny and love getting out and about with the children, finding new places to explore and keeping them entertained, but I’m equally happy having a cosy day at home with crafts, baking, games, books or whatever they’re interested in. I love getting to know each child individually and finding the things that make them tick.

I’m also organised, reliable and very proactive. I’m confident managing the day to day responsibilities that come with being a nanny and becoming a real support to the family, rather than just someone who is there to watch the children.

Outside of work, I’m a very social person and love spending time with my family and friends. I’m also a huge animal lover and have my own little dog, Daisy, who is very much part of the family! I enjoy getting out and about, going for walks, exploring new places, travelling and generally making the most of my time. I’m happiest when I’m busy, surrounded by people I love and making memories.

After 10 years, I still genuinely love being a nanny. For me the best part of the job is becoming someone a child knows they can trust and seeing their little personalities develop as they grow. I’m now looking for the right family where I can build a lovely, longterm relationship and become a valued part of their family life.
