About Me
I have been a registered childminder for over 28 years now I thoroughly enjoy looking after children of all ages.I am married to Steven and have three children of my own ages from 25-28-32 they have a lot of time for the children too as they have grown up with many of them and like a busy home.I only have one still at home just finished up at university.
My Experience
I have over 28 years experience and being a mother of 3 and 3 grandchildren feel this job has come naturally to me over this time.
I have full disclosure's, first aid training, child protection training, infection prevention control, PPP and I am registered through the care inspectorate and I have been graded 5 ( very good ).
My service is non-smoking and child friendly I have a separate playroom for the children with a variety of toys and equipment, arts and crafts and a full range of activities. There is toilet facilities in this part of the house and a separate area for having their lunch.
I also have a large secure garden which is well maintained, this houses a outdoor play area which is well equipped with outdoor toys and a large trampoline with safety net. This allows the children plenty of space and let's them take part in planting and growing with some of the results going back home with them.
Over the last 28 years I have looked after numerous children with ages ranging from newborn to teenagers.
I also use all local facilities ie toddler groups,childminder drop in group,library,soft play,parks etc.
I also Collect & pick up from school & nursery.

My Qualifications
I am registered with the Scottish care inspectorate,PVG certificate,first aid,child protection certificate ....I have just been inspected on 26 April 2019
My Availability
I have availability at the moment.
I have spaces avaliable and also breakfast before & aftercare care my working days monday-friday 8am till 6pm.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
20 hours and above the hourly rate for full time will be £6.00per hour.
20 hours and under the hourly rate will be £5.50 hour
Before and after school will be £6.00 hour
I accept tax credits and childcare voucher schemes
I can provide free breakfast and snacks during the day and lunch is negotiable.

My son and daughter (5 & 4) have been with Linda since June 2014. Linda is great with the kids and they come home happy every night. I always know they are well cared for and have been having fun. Linda has always been flexible with me too and is very helpful and accommodating. My daughter was there full time until this summer and always had lots to talk about at and now they are both in before/Afterschool care. They have both made lovely friends there and they look forward to going to Linda's. Linda has a friendly caring and approachable manner and me and my children have no issues discussing anything with her. I couldn't recommend Linda enough as a childminder.
Overall
My wee girl has been with Linda for nearly 2 years now and I couldn't be happier with the service she provides. She has a very caring manner and always smiling which has made my girl feel very secure and settled. Linda is always doing lots of different activities to help with each child's development and is always looking at new ideas. There are also weekly trips to local groups and meetings with other children. I am very happy and more importantly my child is very happy and loves her time with Linda. I highly recommend her.
