About Me
Based in Maghull. Childcare places available weekdays 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Hi my name is Jayne and i am a 45 year old mum of two. My daughter is 15 years old and my son is 13 years old. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and work with my husband who is a qualified assistant. We have a lovely garden and cabin for the children to enjoy.
My Experience
I love being around children and have a fun and caring nature. My experience comes from my own family and I have learnt a lot educational wise from my childminding course and various online courses I have also completed. We will be following the EYFS (early years foundation stage) as set out by Ofsted and also having lots of fun days in and out along the way! Most of our activities will be child led.This allows the children to get to choose what interests them and we can all have fun learning new topics and skills.
We have a lovely garden for the children to enjoy and a dedicated cabin which we childmind from.

My daughter has been with Janye since July 2021. Since then, my daughter has settled in lovely and really enjoys her time with Janye and Ian. I get regular updates of what my daughter has done that day. With a breakdown of what she has eaten and nap times.
I have found Janye approachable, flexible and very professional. The summerhouse has everything to keep the children entained and a good size outdoor space.
It's one of the hardest decisions leaving your child with a childminder, but Janye takes all that worry and stress away from the minute to meet her.

These are literally the words I’ve told Jayne. My daughter has been going there for a few months now and both me and my husband work shifts that can change at any time. She has been so beyond accommodating and this has been extremely helpful.
Both Jayne and Ian are godsends. Some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, they just love kids and it shows.
My daughter never comes home hungry, she always tells me about all the fun activities she’s done and the shapes she’s learnt.
My youngest baby has now also been going to Jayne and it’s her first time ever being without Mummy and Daddy so we were nervous! Don’t know why as she’s settled in amazingly.
I’m not having any more kids but if I was I would send them to Jayne. Wish I could give more than five stars.

I was really nervous leaving my daughter from such a young age which is why I chose a childminder rather than a nursery. Jayne put me completely at ease from the moment we met, her passion for her job and looking after the children shines through.
Evie’s face lights up as soon as she approaches the door and she thoroughly enjoys attending, she has come on leaps and bounds in her development. I receive regular updates and photo’s which I really appreciate and I get to see how much fun they are having.
I would highly recommend Jayne and Ian as the perfect home from home setting for your little one.

Jayne and Ian are amazing! My little girl adores them and never wants to leave... would highly recommend to anyone needing a childminder. Lovely, approachable, fantastic with our kids so glad we have been lucky enough to find them.

Jayne is an amazing childminder.
She ensures a real home from home environment for my little girl, which is exactly what I was looking for and why I took her out of nursery for. She is very child centred and does lots of lovely things, including trips to the park, soft play etc plus lots of activities and play during the day. Her husband has recently built a summer house in the back garden and it is an amazing addition for the children’s imaginative play.
I have absolutely no hesitation in leaving my little one with Jayne and she loves going! I often get pictures and updates during the day which I really like, and it sets my mind at ease knowing my daughter is happy, settled and having fun.
I’ve had four different childminders over the last 20 years (yes I am that old!) and Jayne is by far the best. Professional, reliable, flexible and my little girl absolutely loves her! I honestly wish I’d found her sooner. Can’t recommend highly enough.
