Sarah is amazing, we were so lucky to find her!

We were looking for a few months of childcare last summer before our daughter started nursery in September. We were so lucky that Sarah had space for us, and those 4 months were the best introduction that Isla could have had to being away from us. Sarah is so welcoming and nurturing, and Isla very quickly settled in and became comfortable there. She looked forward to seeing Sarah every day and to joining in with all of the activities and outings that Sarah organises (there are plenty!). Sarah kept us updated about what Isla was up to and sent us lots of lovely photos of her having fun. She ate amazing, healthy lunches too.

We're very grateful to Sarah for the care and attention that she gave to Isla. Although we had planned to start sending her to nursery from the beginning, we're really pleased that she spent her first 4 months with Sarah instead. Once she started nursery she was confident, happy and set up really well for a new environment.

Highly recommend, so lucky Sarah had space for us

Our son Jacob has been cared for by Sarah for two years now and we are so happy that we found her. Initially we had reserved a nursery place for Jacob but were concerned about the one on one care that he would receive and also being out in a single setting every day from such a young age. Thankfully, Sarah had a space for him and has provided such a caring, nurturing environment for him in her home whilst also ensuring he and the other children in her care get out to a variety of activities and outdoor spaces. Jacob is very happy and settled, was able to maintain his sleep routine from an early age and also eats a great variety of nutritious meals (often that I can’t get him to eat at home!). He is always happy to tell me about their adventures (gymnastics club and a nearby park are his favourites) and he is very fond of Sarah’s family. I have always felt that Jacob is very safe in her care and he happily follows the rules and routines that she sets.

Sarah has paid such a huge part in helping Jacob with language development, social skills, fine and gross motor skills and understanding the people and world around him. She gives regular feedback, practical advice and guidance and has been a great source of advice for navigating stages of development and tailoring activities to focus on Jacobs individual needs.
We are very happy to recommend Sarah to anyone looking for childcare.

Everyone needs a Sarah

Sarah has looked after our first born son Oliver since he was 11 months old and he will hopefully stay with Sarah till school next year.

My review is split into two halves - some of the practical elements and some of my more emotive thoughts!

Her home is clean, tidy and practical for the children. They all eat at a small table, all have their own cots to sleep in, have regular outside time, nutritious meals and she offers advice when needed. Sarah also works with our nursery on Oliver’s development (Oliver wouldn’t go to nursery if Sarah worked 5 days which is a massive credit to her).

Sarah has a loving family that resides in the house and are visible and active with the children which I believe to be a great asset as Oliver has more people to interact with.
Oliver greets Sarah every morning with a huge cuddle and converses with her about the things that toddlers do. He is clearly comfortable in her home and in her care.
She does plenty of things with the children, often going to playgroups, busy park, library’s, swimming pool (when Oliver was on his own one particular day), summer picnics, planting flowers, painting … the list is endless!

I hope Sarah knows how much we have loved having her as our childminder - I have my fingers crossed she will take our second newly born son Louis next summer as it’s hassle free and stress free which for busy working parents is a must!

I’m happy to answer further questions / give more information if anyone needs more info on Sarah…. But I have no hesitation in 100% recommend her .. and do to all my mum contacts / friends!

Loving and caring - cant rate highly enough

Sarah minded our little girl Eva for almost 18ms since she was about 10 months. I cant rate her highly enough for young babies / toddlers. She was wonderful with her right from the very start and has a lovely gentle loving manner about her. Eva used to run up to her door and was always greeted with hugs and smiles as she ran to Sarah (or to Sarahs kids...who are lovely children, kind and gentle, well mannered who used to take such care of Eva too! They were more like older siblings / cousins!).

Sarah did loads of activities with Eva, from playgroups, rhyme time, visits to various parks to crafts and art and water play at home. She also has a trampoline (along with millions of other toys) at home which Eva loved (so much its Santas gift to the family this year!). She made lovely food and got her to eat far more than she will at home. She also is wonderful for daily diary and pictures and keeping you up to date with milestones and development.

I really cant explain how wonderful we found Sarah and how lucky we were to find her. Eva can be quite highly strung at times and is v active. Sarah not only helped her, but us too, though some difficult periods and frustrations as she was growing and also with the birth of her new baby sister. She is v. knowledgable and helpful but most of all very loving. Which meant so much as our family were all abroad and its so important for little children to be loved and happy and to feel safe. I never once questioned Sarahs love or commitment to Eva and trusted her completely. We always felt like Eva had a second family at Sarahs. Eva only stopped going in Sept as we moved back to Ireland. The single biggest worry I had about moving country with two small babies was how broken hearted would Eva be not seeing Sarah and her family!!!

My daughter loved being at Sarah's - strongly reco

Sarah looked after my then 13 month old daughter Jessica for a number of months following my return to work from maternity leave. Jessica loved being at Sarah’s. She was very happy to go in when I dropped her off in the morning and indeed was always very excited to see her. Sarah did lots of interesting activities with Jessica and we would see photos of these on a daily report that we were given which also included details of her meals and naps etc.

Sarah’s house was always clean and tidy and the toys and equipment that she used were in a great condition. The meals that she provided were healthy and good quality and she was happy to apply Jessica’s eczema cream.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Sarah as a child minder. I had complete confidence in her ability to look after my daughter and keep her safe and would happily use her services again - the only reason that my daughter is no longer with Sarah is that her location was tricky for my journey to work, otherwise she would still be there.
