About Me

I come from a very large family who are very supportive and many of them deal with providing care for children. I provide childcare for my 1yr old grandson and decided to register as a childminder in 2018. My home is well equipped for indoor and outdoor play. I am surrounded in walks and fields and the children are having a great time. I also attend bookbug, toddler group and softplay regularly.

My Experience

I was a carer for over 20yrs for the elderly and disabled children. I have my NVQ 2 in care and have updated my health and safety, food hygiene, first aid etc on many occasions. I have since developed my home for the safety of caring for children and have completed my SVQ3 in childcare to help with the level of care i provide. My kitchen is registered with the local council to provide safe food for the children. I am registered with the Scotland Care Inspectorate, SCMA, (Scottish Childminding Association). Childcare.co.uk and ICO for data protection.

My Qualifications

NVQ 2 in care, Health and Safety level 2. First aid trained. SVQ3 childcare
