About Me
My name is Tanya Draper, I’m 33 and I live in Annesley with my partner and 4 year old son Jonah. I have my foundation degree in early years studies aswell as many years experience of working within early years. I love getting out and about with my little boy, enjoying walks in the woods and trips to the park. I will be starting childminding in January 2023 offering breakfast club and afternoon club from Annesley Primary School, aswell as full time care, part time care and term time only care.
My Experience
I worked in a private day nursery straight after leaving college. I was there for 12 years and worked my way up from nursery nursery to Nursery Manager. While in charge, my nursery was graded Outstanding by Ofsted which is one of my proudest achievements. I worked in a range of rooms during my time at the nursery from babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. I was a pre-school room leader and deputy for 6 years before becoming manager.
After having my son I decided to leave my job and work in a local school. I’ve been working in the school nursery part time since September 2018, I love my job and seeing the children progress and develop every day. I work as a key worker in the nursery, looking after children aged 3-5. I love getting messy, using the children interests to help them reach their full potential and getting creative.
