I have been married for nearly 35 years and have 2 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. I am an active person who loves to be outdoors and I also enjoy cooking, craft activities such as jewellery making, sewing, drawing and painting. I also enjoy reading and swimming. I am a friendly, caring, ambitious and fun person who enjoys working with children preparing them for school and helping them develop to their full potential.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare for over 25 years. I have been worked in management in a few nurseries and have worked closely with all ages 0-8 years and also children with additional needs. I gave up working in nurseries to have a bit more freedom with my husband now wanting to become a self employed childcarer instead. Meaning I can teach and use my skills in the child;s own home providing fun activities and days outs. I off course have fantastic knowledge of the early years foundation stage and learning journeys.
