About Me

I have been a nanny and tutor for over 15 years across the UK and internationally. I work weekends for one long term family in London/Europe but am looking to pick up tutoring work or part time care in Bristol during the week.

I am particularly fond of tutoring maths as it is a subject I love and I feel my enthusiasm helps my students challenge themselves and excel. My strongest passion is helping children reach their potential whilst supporting their journey to becoming confident, happy and independent individuals. I have a Masters in Psychology with a focus on Child learning Strategies, but also studied Pure Mathematics at Bachelors and also hold a BA in Theology. I give talks in several girls schools in the South West encouraging confidence and expression.

I have worked directly with autistic and diabetic children, as well as those with ADHD/ADD, and have experience within SEND schools. I am currently refreshing my knowledge on Dyslexia to support a child's learning. I am a patient, caring and considerate individual who understands the need for a good sense of humour when working with families!

In my personal life I love performing, walking and jiujitsu and do my very best to keep to a healthy diet (but I bake ALOT so that is often a challenge)! I perform comedy and occasionally run problem solving chats for families needing a little help tackling a parenting issue. I think my strongest attribute is the understanding that I do not have all the answers and that every child is a unique individual deserving of individualised care and attention.
