About Me
Firstly I work with children of all ages as I throughly enjoy it. I am a member of PACEY . (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and i am Registered with ICO.I believe I offer a unique 'home from home' experience. With all children I like to get 'out and about' attending local parks, children centres,local libraries. I plan an interesting range of activities and experiences, which meets each childs individual needs, interests as well as taking into consideration the EYFS. I work in partnership with parents at all times. I have a warm amd welcoming 3-bed house in Hounslow.I have a dedicated playroom leading onto a cute garden.I provide home cooked meals and I am passionate about providing balanced nutritious meals. I am enthusiastic and committed to continually monitoring and evaluating the service, I provide to ensure I maintain a quality child focused service. I have a good understanding of Early Years Foundation Stages and incorporate them into my dailly, weekly and term planning. I attend regular training too to keep my professional portfolio up to date. I happily except Childcare Vouchers. I am also able to provide before and after school/nursery care for children. My Ofsted inspection Grade is GOOD and excellent references available upon request....:)

I was a member of the “Hounslow Childminding Network ,which had been approved as a Children Come First Network and is accredited & I provide TEMPORARY or EMERGENCY CHILDCARE AS WELL

I am a very experienced Ofsted registered Childminder. I am looking after children from last over 28 years with different ages . I have experience of supporting children with SPECIAL NEEDS,DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY & SPEECH & LANGUAGE NEEDS.

My Qualifications
I have an NVQ Level3 in Early Years Childcare and Education. I have done my First Aid with St. John Ambulance and I hold a Level2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. I have attended a variety of workshops in MAKATON & SENCO. I always update my knowledge in childcare on a regular basis by attending trainings & meetings with other professionals

My Availability
I can offer 15/30 hours a week of two & three to four year old funded childcare. I aim to : provide a caring, happy and well supervised play environment, support the individual needs, development and learning of each child and encourage them to become independent and achieve their potential whilst encouraging them in their play.

Poonam is the best childminder in our area.She's very friendly,looked after my both children.They loved the time spent at her setting and enjoyed delicious food.She's very experienced and flexible, children were safe at her setting

Poonam first became our childminder with our first boy. We decided to still stick with Poonam after we had moved out of town.
Poonam then looked after our 2 boys, one with ASD and she’s incredibly patient and sweet. Would definitely recommend!

Poonam has been looking after my daughter since my daughter was 8 months old and she is now nearly 3! I was very apprehensive at the thought of leaving my daughter with someone other than my self for the very first time, but all my worries were quickly diminished. Poonam has been great with the childcare provided, and my daughter loves every minute there and thoroughly enjoys her time whilst under Poonam's care. I have peace of mind when I drop my daughter off as i know she will be well looked after and cared for in a genuine manor. Very happy with the care provided.

Overall
Poonam has been my childminder for over 10 years. In all that time, I have never questioned her efficiency or competency. She is highly proficient in this role, and my children think very highly of her. I have used other childminders over her holiday cover, but I am always glad when Poonam is back. What I especially appreciate is her flexibility with arrangements. There have been times when I needed immediate childcare, and she has never let me down. I know that when my children are with her, I can have complete peace of mind that they are happy and secure.
