About Me
I love working outdoors with children and supporting them with self lead exploration. I'm a very relaxed and calm care taker, I'm also very sensitive to the emotional needs of others. I enjoy encouraging children to follow their own interests and fascinations. I enjoy drawing and painting a lot so I like to get creative with children in what ever ways they like. I'm happy to work with both babies and children, as I have experience with both. I connect a lot with the continuum concept so I'm happy to wear babies in a carrier.
My Experience
I lived in as a private nanny in East Prawle for a young family with two girls from January to December 2017. I looked after their toddler(15 months), 7.30-5 a few days a week. I learnt a huge amount during that time, I became part of the family and their daily life, experiencing the challenges and joys of raising children. From April 2018-March 2020 I worked as a part-time nanny for a family with two young children in Aveton Gifford, where we would usually spend our time outside exploring in nature or playing at home. From April 2019 until March 2020 I worked at Venture Outdoor Kindergarten in Hope Cove as an outdoor educator. From September 2020-December 2021 I worked for a family with two boys (aged 6 and 8) in Slapton, mostly working after school taking the boys to clubs, doing arts and crafts, making dinner and bed time routine. I am currently working for two families with two young children each (2 and 5).
My Qualifications
BA Honours Illustration. Paediatric First Aid qualified. Safe guarding level 2.
