About Me
We are a warm, welcoming family in Hanborough, looking for a caring, well-organised nanny who is passionate about child development to join us from the end of September 2025.
We have three girls: two older ones (aged almost 7 and almost 4) who are in full-time school and nursery, and our youngest who will be turning 2 in November.
This role is sole charge of the 2-year-old during the day.
She is a bright, happy little girl who loves music, being outdoors, arts & crafts, playing, and story time. She thrives on fun, engaging activities and gentle encouragement.
My Requirements
Start date: From the end of September 2025
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm (32 hours per week). We are also open to offering a full 5-day role (40 hours per week) for the right candidate.
Contract: Open to a fixed-term or permanent contract.
Duties include:
- Sole charge care of 1 toddler (age 2)
- Planning stimulating, development-focused activities (arts & crafts, reading, outdoor play, music)
- Preparing healthy meals/snacks
- Keeping her routine well organised (mealtimes, naps, outings)
- Taking her to local classes/activities
- Light nursery duties related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, meal prep)
What we’re looking for
- Warm, caring, and nurturing
- Highly organised, reliable, and confident managing a daily routine
- Genuinely passionate about child development and early years learning
- Experienced with toddlers and early years development
- Holds (or willing to update) Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid
Full driving licence is a plus, but not essential. We live by a train station and bus stop, giving easy access for candidates without a car
