About Me

I am a registered childminder , I offer a very caring and professional environment for the children.
The children are treated as an extension of my own family.
I am married with 2 children of my own and a gorgeous grandson.
I only care for EYFS children , concentrating on their individual needs and interests.
I have over 30 years of experience within the childcare sector.
My previous job was an Area Manager for 6 successful nurseries and 2 school clubs.
On having my daughter and finding it hard to find a caring environment that met my expectations, I decided to set up as a childminder and have never looked back......
I have a playroom with lot's of toys and activities for varied ages.
I also have the added bonus of Indoor and outdoor open access, which allows the children to choose where they would like to play.Within the garden I have astro turf so that we can play out all year round and I also have a covered creative area which provides shelter.
We go on daily outings to toddler groups,children's centres,parks,farms etc.
I also promote Forest Childcare once a week to give the children great outdoor experiences.
I have also introduced "The Curiosity approach " to learning, which is proving to be very successful with the children. An exciting way to learn, through curiosity and intrigue.

My Experience

I have 20 years post qualification experience of working within the childcare sector.
I have experience of working wth children aged from 3 months upto 11 years.
I have been a Team Leader of nursery rooms working my way into management and then becoming an Area Manager.
I can also take the government funding.
I accept childcare vouchers.
I am a mature lady who works to high standards in childcare.

My Qualifications

NNEB - National Diploma Of Nursery Nursing
ADCE - Advanced Diploma In Childcare And Education
NVQ Level 3 In Childcare Management
NSPCC - Child Protection
Peadeatric First Aid
Food Hygiene
EYFS Training
Lot's of other training on evening courses can produce certificates on viewing.

My Fees
