About Me
My name is Eleanor Stewart. I am a qualified primary school teacher with eight years experience working across the primary age range.
To complement my teaching, I am currently completing a part time Masters in Play Therapy, so that I can specialise in working with children who have experienced emotional trauma. During lockdown, I am offering private tuition to families across Sussex. I have an in-depth working knowledge of child development and believe it is important to adopt a holistic and playful approach to learning.
My Experience
As part of my teacher training, I specialised in teaching within the Early Years (ages 3-7). Alongside classroom teaching, I have worked as a private tutor during school holidays and have run child led storytelling and creative writing workshops, suitable for children in Reception - Year 4.
I am able to offer one to one and small group English tutoring across the primary aged range. Maths tutoring is available for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. References and a full CV are available on request.
