About Me

Hello families,

I'm a fun and energetic primary school teacher. I have experience in both mainstream and SEND schools with a love of education and learning at the core of everything I do.

I plan fun and engaging lessons that allow children to think outside the box and begin to feel confident in their abilities. Feeling successful in their learning journey is such an important part of forging a love of education, as such I am able to meet your child where they are academically and work to bridge any gaps in their learning.

I believe that learning should be fun and I work to build a strong foundation with the children I teach, and their families in order to encourage a positive relationship with education for them.

My Experience

Before entering education, I worked for close to a decade as a full-time nanny which often took on tutoring aspects.

Despite loving my work as a nanny, my love for education spurred me on to train to teach and I have since worked as both a Teaching Assistant, Class Teacher and Form Tutor. Having experience in all aspects of school life allowed me to have a bottom-up approach and I understand how to fully support a child in their learning.

I worked in a SEND school for two years in upper-secondary, supporting with entry level maths and English as well as PSHCE and life skills.

Since then, I have been working in a mainstream Hackney school where I have seen fantastic outcomes. I am able to support in all areas of primary education and look forward to potentially having the opportunity to work with your family.
