About Me

I’m 52 years old and a mum of two grown-up children aged 28 and 25, and a very proud grandma to my 2-year-old grandchild. I’ve been a registered childminder for 26 years, so I bring a wealth of experience caring for children of all ages.

I’m calm, patient, and reliable, and I genuinely love working with children. Having spent over two decades supporting families, I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and relaxed when leaving their children in someone else’s care. I always aim to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel happy and secure.

Trustworthy childminder

Shantel was my daughters childminder from her being 2.5-3.5 yo (when she joined pre-school). My little girl has a great relationship with Shanteĺ, the other children in Shantels care and she has developed really well during this time. Shantel often takes the children she cares for to activities outside the home such as Harewood house and Tropical world which our daughter loves. We find Shantel to be really flexible (when possible) and really trustworthy. We know our daughter is being well looked after when in Shantels care.
