About Me



Hi.
My names Gemma and I am a registered Childminder who lives in Abbey Farm Swindon with my husband and our 3 daughters. I believe that I am a warm, patient, caring childminder who aims to offer flexible, affordable childcare. We have a detached house and I use the ground floor for childminding. We have access to the play room, a toilet, the kitchen and garden.

My Experience

I have been a childminder for over 19 years now and throughly enjoy every minute of it. I offer a warm and friendly environment where your child can learn through play. I work to the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have cared for children of all ages and from different backgrounds.

My Qualifications

I am CRB checked and first Aid trained, have Pacey insurance. I have a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. I constantly complete training to ensure that I can offer the best care possible.

My Availability

I offer flexible working hours. I currently have availabilty on a Wednesday.

Excellent childcare

Gemma has been looking after my 2 girls on and off for a couple of years now and they have loved every day they have been there. I work in childcare myself and have high standards but I can honestly say that I have never been less than delighted with the care that Gemma gives the children and the service she provides to us. I know I can trust her to be firm with them when needed and they also have so much fun. I am equally comfortable leaving the girls in Sue's care and they really like her too. The environment is safe, stimulating and extremely professional.
