My Experience

I used to work in a nursery, being a 1-2-1 support staff for a child with additional needs. My main responsibilities were ensuring the child was safe and happy during the days, and ensuring he was able to develop in his way, rather than following the "mainstream" routines.

I worked in an afterschool club and holiday camps in Oxfordshire and Hampshire. The main responsibility was to ensure the children were safe and happy during the day, and developing their learning.

My most recent career was full time in a nursery for four years in Southampton. Over the last year of this job, I was promoted to the Room Leader role, which encouraged the management and leadership behaviours which will come in handy when working with a team. I mainly worked in the Preschool-aged room, however have a lot of experience with toddler-aged children, as well as Babies. I had many key children over the course of the four years, all of which I enjoyed helping them grow and develop.

I have recently obtained my social work postgraduate diploma, and I now work as a newly qualified social worker within Oxfordshire County Council.

Since the age of 15, I have been babysitting many families known to me through family and through my jobs. I thoroughly enjoy babysitting, and getting to know the children and families!

Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work
Pediatric First Aid Qualification
Safeguarding qualification - most recent was 2024 training
Level 4 qualification in Social work with children and families
Food hygiene qualification
Completed courses on topics such as biting in the early years, autism awareness

My Availability

I am available for week day evening babysitting, and overnight if needed. I am at placement in Witney so can do the Witney area earlier in the evening, or the Oxford area a little later due to my commute

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

I charge £17 an hour for one child, or £28 an hour for two children. Overnight charges can be subject to your suggestion!
