About Me
Our family live near Brooklands school in Cheshunt. In a house and garden. I have just been inspected and graded a Good. I can upload the report once I receive it or you can view on the ofsted site.
I also work with another childminder who is also Ofsted Registered and has been childminding for 17 years plus. we work together from my house.
I try to make the children I look after welcome and part of our family, and ensure the child's needs are met to create a caring environment and encourage the child's learning and development. Some days during the week, I attend toddler group and softplay. During school holidays we normally do fun age appropriate activities where possible. Parents are just as important! so I do my best to be as flexible as possible. I follow EYFS standards and also carry out an age 0-5 Progress for children who aren't in a setting elsewhere, this can be kept as a keepsake or passed on when your child moves on to nursery/school.
My children attend Brooklands school so any child attending there I can do pick ups/drop offs. If the timing is ok, then il be able to do pick ups locally too. I am registered with Ofsted and Im fully qualified. I am happy to supply food and drink and encourage a healthy lifestyle..please contact me for more info and to obtain my policies.
I am also fully vaccinated.
I am able to also do occasional babysitting.
My Experience
I have been childminding since June 2019. the children I currently look after have become very dear to us and have built such a great relationship with and the parents ! Also, I have 3 of my own children ages 8, 6 and 1 year old. so that's my experience so far. I have looked after children from babies age to 10yrs so far! I have a loving, caring, structural, learning, fun and creative setting. I would be happy to give references from the parents if required. I have had positive outcomes with these children since they have been in my care. The core part of my setting is that it feels like a 'home from home' environment for the children as much as possible so they feel comfortable and included. I require parents to bring packed lunch for their children.
My Qualifications
I am cache qualified Level 3 Hbca and food and hygiene . full dbs check but it wont upload on here for some reason.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30, term time and school holidays.
I dont work bank Holidays.
