My Requirements

My husband has been offered a work placement overseas, and would be away for a few weeks each month before coming home for a few weeks. During this time whilst he is away, we would be looking for live in childcare as my work is residential (in a boarding school). Whilst on duty, we would require someone for emergencies to be in residence overnight in case I am called away. The children are in school full time and so I have listed the times we are seeking support below:

Monday: overnight from 10pm
Tuesday: until 8.30am
Wednesday: from 4pm overnight
Thursday: no childcare required (my day off)
Friday: no childcare required
Saturday: from 6pm overnight
Sunday: all day/overnight

There are some caveats here - I get an allocation of 6 hours off in total over the weekend, however this is very irregular and changes week by week.

Our children are 7 and 4 and are excellent sleepers (7/7.30pm-7am)- I will be available to be with them should they wake in the night (from when I finish work) unless I am called away to hospital/fire alarm etc. In reality, the job would be getting the children up, fed, dressed and to school and then the same at the other end of the day, whilst being an emergency adult should I be called away. We are an outdoorsy family with a dog and a cat and live in Cold Ash - there’s lots to do should anyone able to help have a driving license. The children are very sociable, well-behaved (Im sure you hear this a lot but they generally are!), polite and good eaters.
