My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Ella!
I’m a qualified childcare professional with experience spanning early years and school-age care. I began my career as a live-in nanny after moving to the UK at 20, later became an Ofsted-registered childminder when my son was born, and now, with him being 8 and in school, I’ve been working as a Sports Coach in his primary school. Alongside that, I’m studying Psychology part-time at university. I like to keep busy! :)
I’m now planning to transition from my coaching role to working as a flexible nanny for children aged 0–5. This change will allow me to balance my passion for childcare with my studies. Currently, I work at the school’s breakfast club in the mornings, so my earliest start time for any nanny position would be 9:30 a.m.
I hold an up-to-date DBS, paediatric first aid certification, and relevant childcare qualifications, all of which I’m happy to bring to interviews. I also have a solid understanding of special educational needs and learning difficulties and can provide excellent references from families I’ve worked with over the years.
I speak fluent English and Italian, as well as conversational Spanish and French, and I know thousands of nursery rhymes from around the world (unlikely) :D
When working in your home, I’m happy to help keep things tidy and do light chores related to the children. However, just to be clear, I’m a professional childcare provider, not a cleaner and I won't clean your house.
I am based in Uxbridge, UB8, and I drive.
I’m currently available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 2:30pm, but I’m quite flexible; with a bit of notice I can usually adjust my schedule. I’m also available for emergency babysitting on weekends, half terms, bank holidays for children up to 15 years.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Ella has been such a great support for my baby boy. My baby is not easily engaged with new people but Ella has made it so natural to connect with him. I can see her passion from the way she care for my baby. I love how she is teaching him new things and keeping me updated with his progression. It’s not easy to find a trustworthy nanny and I am lucky to have found her.

We met Elena for a trial and error session, just for one day about 5 hours in total. She was great - she kept our 6 month old son busy while my wife carried on with built up chores. We are definitely planning to make her more regular going forward

Ella has been an absolute joy as a nanny for our one-year-old son, bringing boundless energy, warmth, and creativity into every day. She is wonderfully active and makes the most of time outdoors, sharing her love of nature through playful adventures that our little one absolutely adores. Her communication is excellent, keeping us informed while also connecting beautifully with children, which shows in the way they light up around her. Always positive and caring, Ella has created a nurturing environment where our son feels safe, happy, and inspired to explore. We feel very fortunate to have her support and would recommend her wholeheartedly.
