My Requirements

PART-TIME NANNY HOUSEKEEPER / MOTHER'S HELP (25 guaranteed hours)

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys both working with children and taking pride in helping to keep a family home clean, organised and welcoming.

Hours
- Guaranteed 25 hours per week

> Term Time
- Monday to Thursday (occasional Fridays to be agreed in advance)
- Approximately 1:30pm–6:30pm
- There may also be occasional additional paid hours if we are travelling for work or need to stay at the office late.

> School Holidays
- We would ideally like increased daytime childcare during the school holidays. Exact hours can be agreed with the successful candidate and planned well in advance. We appreciate some flexibility and are happy to discuss a schedule that works well for everyone.

Salary
- Competitive salary, to be agreed depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities. We are keen to find the right person for our family and are happy to discuss this during the interview process.

Location
- We are based in SW7, near South Kensington Station, with both children’s schools, local parks and activities within easy walking distance.

- No driving licence or car is required. We are looking for someone who enjoys an active role and is happy to walk the children to and from school and local activities.

Responsibilities:
>Childcare
- School pick-up
- Helping with homework where appropriate
- Creating a fun, calm and happy after-school routine
- Walking the children to local activities, parks and playdates

>Household
- Preparing simple, healthy evening meals and snacks for the family (recipes will be provided)
- Family laundry (washing, hanging, folding and putting away)
- Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised home
- Keeping the kitchen, children’s bedrooms and bathrooms, and family living areas clean and organised
- Regular vacuuming, mopping and light dusting
- Changing bed linen as required
- Taking initiative and noticing what needs doing to help the household run smoothly

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, kind and engaging with children
- Reliable, punctual, organised and proactive
- Happy and confident preparing healthy family meals
- Comfortable combining childcare with housekeeping
- Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly
- A confident communicator with excellent spoken English
- Looking for a long-term position

Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Previous nanny or nanny housekeeper experience
- Excellent recent references
- Right to work in the UK
- Non-smoker

Please note: This is a genuine nanny housekeeper / mother’s help role, combining after-school childcare with cooking, laundry and housekeeping. If you are looking for a childcare-only or housekeeping-only position, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
