My Requirements

We are looking for a kind, proactive and experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for our lovely 8-year-old autistic son in a mainstream primary school in Hampstead (NW London). The role is full time.

The role includes:
? Supporting learning, attention and engagement in the classroom
? Encouraging social interaction and independence
? Assisting with emotional regulation and sensory needs
? Working collaboratively with the school team and parents

We are looking for someone who:
? Has experience supporting autistic children in a school setting. Not necessarily in 1:1 role.
? Is patient, reliable, nurturing and firm
? Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
