Nanny in London: Ealing (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
During my 30 years in the childcare sector, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of families, from high-profile and UHNW households to local families, caring for children from newborns through to their teenage years. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of the needs, expectations and dynamics of family life, while developing my professionalism, discretion, adaptability and commitment.
I am a fully qualified Norland Nanny, having graduated in 2000, and have always been passionate about my career. I have extensive sole-charge experience and am equally confident caring for newborns and older children, adapting my approach to their individual personalities, developmental stages and needs. I particularly enjoy supporting
children as they develop, discover their interests and grow in confidence, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment through play, conversation, outings and thoughtfully planned activities. My extensive travel has also given me invaluable life experience and a broader understanding of different cultures and family dynamics, making me adaptable, open-minded and confident in new environments.
Alongside my practical experience, I have remained committed to professional development, achieving an Undergraduate Degree in Childcare and Education, Early Years Teacher Status and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Psychology with British Psychological Society accreditation. I continue to undertake regular CPD and enjoy applying my academic knowledge of child development, learning and behaviour to my everyday practice.
A particularly significant experience was working as a volunteer consultant in a day-care setting in Clapham Junction from September 2013 to March 2014, where I trained and supported staff. This challenging and rewarding role enabled me to share my experience while developing my leadership and communication skills. In my spare time I am very proud to mentor less experienced nannies as well as co-host a podcast focused on the nanny profession, sharing knowledge and confidential experiences from within the industry. Having worked with high-profile and UHNW families, I place great importance on confidentiality, discretion and professional boundaries, ensuring these principles remain central to both my practice and anything I share professionally within my podcast.
