My Summary

My Experience

I am a member of Girlguiding UK where I have worked with girls ranging from 4-18 years old. I have also previously done babysitting for friends and family where I have looked after both boys and girls ranging from 6 months to 14 years old.

In 2019/2020 I was an Au Pair in the USA for 12 months looking after twin girls aged 2/3. I looked after them 5 days a week, and my duties included cooking and giving all meals, educational activities and bath/bedtime routine.

In 2023 I returned to the USA as an Au Pair for the same twin girls who were then 6/7. This time my duties included waking them up and getting them ready for school, driving them to school, picking them up from school, helping with homework, assisting with bathtime (washing hair), bedtime, making all meals during weekdays. I also worked school holidays and occasionally weekends where I would take them out to different places for the day (the park, museums, arcade etc).

Both my times as an au pair including travelling with the family. This varied from looking after the girls at the hotel as the parents attended an event, to looking after the girls on holidays abroad, and sometimes just being a member of the family.

A safe space level 1, 2 & 3 (Girlguiding safeguarding training)

My Availability

Tuesday evenings are when my Girlguiding Rainbow & Ranger unit meet which starts at 5.30pm. Depending on how close you live to where we meet I would need to finish work by 4.45pm to be able to get there on time.

My weekend availability is flexible. Being a leader in Girlguiding we occasionally take the girls on trips/sleepovers over weekends.

I am open to overnights once we’re all comfortable.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

Fees can be discussed. I am happy for a lower rate during the hours children are sleeping.
